THE HEADS-UP DISPLAY - Basics

The display

• is projected onto the windscreen (Heads-up Display)
• visualizes all required information:
  system-, navigation- and traffic-relevant content
• is based on the principle of augmented-reality
• only shows information specific to the needs of the individual air-car (whereas conventional traffic signs communicate the same limited information to all road-users)
• works anticipatory (road signs appear on the display long before the road itself)
